It's summer and almost July 4th!

To see the Philadelphia fireworks, you might head to Gorgas Park on Ridge Avenue. Bring a blanket and enjoy the show taking place over the Philadelphia Museum of Art on July 4th at 9:45 PM. Details on VisitPhilly.

Philadelphia unveiled its first Juneteenth mural this week. It's 1100 sq feet and located in Germantown (details below).

COMMUNITY UPDATES

The Rain Garden in the First Cul-de-Sac is done! Just in time for torrential downpours.

We'll be adding plants to the pocket park in the area along the recently moved fence. Step 1 will be creating a planting bed. Then, in the fall we'll add the plants.

If you need additional recycling bins, you can obtain them for free from the Domino Recycling Center. Even if you do private trash pickup you can participate in recycling! 

We are still working on hoods for the front pillar lights.

The dead community trees will now be replaced in the fall. 

Spotted Lantern Fly Nymphs

We've spotted the first early nymphs of the season. Be on the lookout and ready to obliterate any you see. The nymphs hop; the adults glide. Both move surprisingly fast. (Check the resources page if you forgot what they look like.)
