Rain Garden Weeding & Tree Issues
Yes, the rain garden needs weeding, and two community trees must be replaced.
This budget year, we've been hit by two unexpected costly items: two ice storms and the infamous water bills that finally arrived, creating a ~$23.5K year-to-date deficit. Luckily, we have money to cover this, however, we still have six months to go in this budget year, including the possibility of additional ice storms (hard to imagine right now).
That's why your Board Representatives are being financially prudent about incurring unbudgeted costs such as weeding. Once it gets a bit cooler, Christine and Ted will start the cleanup and you're welcome to join us.
Sink Hole By Sidewalk
Riverwards is expected to inspect the sinkhole by the sidewalk between #28 and #29 on July 17. We are hopeful that they can address the issue promptly.
Dearnley Park Civic Association
The Dearnley Park Civic Association has reactivated itself as a registered community organization. Roxborough Reserve falls within the boundaries of this organization. Anyone interested in getting involved can reach out to Dorothy French.
